1. Eligibility for Returns
You may request a return and refund under the following conditions:
- The return request is made within 7 days of delivery.
- The product is unused, uninstalled, and in the same condition as you received it.
- The product is in its original packaging, with all accessories, parts, and documentation.
- Proof of purchase (order number, invoice) is provided.
2. Non-Returnable / Non-Refundable Items
Some items cannot be returned or refunded, including but not limited to:
- Products that have been installed, used, or tampered with.
- Consumables or filter cartridges once opened or used.
- Items sold “as is” or clearance items (unless otherwise specified).
- Items that are damaged due to customer misuse or negligence.
- Products missing serial numbers, stickers, or barcodes.
To initiate a return:
- Contact our Customer Support at sales@ecoguardfilters.com within the return eligibility period.
- Provide your order number, the reason for the return, and any supporting photos (if applicable).
- Wait for our return approval and shipping instructions.
- Ships the item back to us (you may be responsible for return shipping unless otherwise stated).
4. Refund Process
Once we receive and inspect the returned item, we will notify you of the status of your refund (approved or declined). If approved:
- A refund will be processed to your original payment method.
- The refund processing time may take 7 business days depending on your bank or payment provider.
- Shipping costs are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong product, damaged item, etc.).
In certain cases, only partial refunds may be granted (for example):
- Items returned with missing parts, accessories, or packaging.
- Products that show signs of use, damage, or alteration.
- Restocking fees (e.g. 10–20% of product value) may apply in such cases (if applicable).
- Unless the return is due to our error (defective, wrong item, etc.), you will be responsible for return shipping costs.
- We recommend using a trackable shipping service or insurance to avoid loss or damage in transit.
- Returns must be securely packaged to avoid damage during shipping.
We only exchange products if they are defective or faulty. If you need to exchange:
- Contact support with your order details and reason.
- Once approved, send back the original item.
- After we receive and inspect it, we ship the replacement product (subject to stock availability).
If the item you received is damaged or incorrect:
- Contact us immediately (within 7 days of delivery) and provide photos and order details.
- We will arrange for a replacement or full refund.
- In such cases, we will cover return shipping or arrange a courier pick-up.
- If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account or credit card statement.
- Then contact your payment provider — sometimes it takes several days to process.
- If you’ve done both and still haven’t received the refund, contact us at sales@ecoguardfilters.com. Please include your order number, refund date, and proof of communication.
- You may cancel the order before it has been dispatched. Contact us immediately with your order number.
- If the order has already been shipped, cancellation may not be possible; returns must follow our standard Return & Refund Policy.
- If we accept the cancellation, any payment made will be refunded (minus any transaction fees) within 7 business days.
